The Mandovi Hotel: Goa
I stayed at The Mandovi Hotel during my recent visit to Goa. Its prominent location and overlooking Mandovi river. Many Casinos are nearby. Walk down the riverside to the Miramar beach is really lovely.
The rooms are excellent. The High Tide Bar and restaurant are worthwhile. Lovely local food is served. Excellent ambience. Relaxed environment. Located in the heart of Panjim city.

 In front of the river Mandovi with a view from the room. It is one of the oldest hotels in Goa. Very typical city hotel in the midst of busy area of Panjim, the hotel seems to be very old and need urgent renovation/refurbishing.
The deluxe room where I stayed was good, neat & clean, has a separate sitting area with sofa & work table, the room was overlooking the Mandovi river and the view was nice. Breakfast was not interesting at all, The staff are courteous but took slow in their service. This hotel used to be one of the best business hotel in 90s.

The elevators & walk way need serious maintenance.  If they renovate this property, this could regain its popularity due to its strategic location.
