The Country Inn & Suites by Carlson, is the Place to be at near Golden Temple (Amritsar-India) and also to the many famous shopping places and very pleasant surroundings.  Carlson always meet more than guests expectation. I stayed here for one night and found it to be an ideal location. Staff is welcoming, friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean and comfortable with plenty of space. I had a large and comfortable room with all the facilities including free wi fi at good speed. Good food in restaurant, buffet breakfast with good variety of European and Indian choices. Nice clean roof top swimming pool. Good location for all the sights in Amritsar, Golden Temple etc.
Good friendly staff led by a great personality Mr. J S Hundal, the GM of the hotel, always smiling and willing to help guests with any suggestions/ arrangements taxis, trips etc,  and make them comfortable and relaxed. Good housekeeping very clean, excellent room service. I enjoyed my stay, and would choose to stay again. Highly recommended.
